Artiox, which enables users to invest as much as they want by tokenizing valuable works of art on the blockchain, received an investment of $ 1 million on a valuation of $ 15 million in the new round.

In this investment round, important investors such as Hedef GSYO and Re-Pie were included in the tour, while Alesta, Sertaç Özinal, Ideal Financial Technologies and Namık Kemal Gökalp, who had previously invested, made their follow-up investments.

Artiox, which was founded in 2019 by Tuncay Dakdevir and Cemal Doğan, and Artiox, which has increased its valuation to 15 million dollars with the new investment, will add new features to its already working platform in the coming period, while adding foreign users to its priorities. Aiming to acquire users from various parts of the world, especially Europe, by completing its overseas expansions in a short time, Artiox announced that it would expand its portfolio by adding works of foreign artists to the platform.

In Artiox, 14 different works have been presented since the day it went live, and users have realized a transaction volume of over 40 million TL. Artiox, which previously presented the works of artists such as Picasso, Fahrelnissa Zeid, Devrim Erbil, and Ahmet Güneştekin, finally offered the work of Haluk Akakçe, one of the most colorful names in Contemporary Turkish Art, on October 11, and the sale was completed quickly.

Tuncay Dakdevir, co-founder of Artiox, made the following statements regarding the newly purchased investment: “First of all, we are excited to have received a new investment that has doubled our valuation in a short time. However, another important point for us is the continuation investment of our previous investors. The trust they have in us proves that we are doing the right things. In the upcoming period, we will focus on the foreign side, and we will start Artiox's global journey by taking the necessary steps quickly. At the same time, we want to bring Artiox to wider audiences with various improvements and communication methods.

In addition, with the financial difficulties observed globally, we see very clearly that valuable artworks have proven once again that they are a safe investment tool in difficult times. At Artiox, users can easily invest in expert-approved and insured works of art with the confidence provided by blockchain technology, while managing these investments much more effectively than traditional art investments. At this point, when investing in valuable works of art, both the disappearance of the entry capital barrier and the easy inclusion of the masses in this market transforms this sector into a more democratic field. Currently, the participation in the world art market, which has an annual volume of 65 billion dollars, does not exceed 2% of the population. Therefore, when we consider all these, Artiox has a long way to go, audiences to reach and many users to acquire.” said.
