Purus Partners

The domestic startup Malwation, which started its studies in July 2020 to develop malware analysis and simulation technologies, received its second investment over a 45 million TL valuation.

Founded by Osman Doğan and Kağan Işıldak, the venture received its first seed investment from Sertaç Özinal and Alesta Yatırım with a valuation of 7 million TL in February 2021. Now, in Malwation, with a valuation of 45 million TL, the seed from angel investors Zaid Al-Aifari and Ali Beyatlı has completed the follow-up investment round.

Sertaç Özinal and Alesta Yatırım, the first investors in this process, which is described as a bridge tour, decided to continue and joined the tour.

Malwation develops technologies and platforms that cybersecurity teams need in malware analysis processes. At this point, they are in the market with 2 products they have developed within the company.

Malwation AIMA

First product; Malwation AIMA offers users an advanced malware sandbox environment and interactive analysis area under one roof. With this platform, users can perform behavioral analysis of suspicious files, classification of malicious activities and detailed reporting in a fully automated manner. In addition, this roof platform has technological partnerships with many global companies. In this way, companies' cyber security teams can use AIMA (Automated / Interactive Malware Analysis) in an integrated manner with other cyber security products in their environment. Apart from these automated processes, incident response teams are able to perform malware analysis and intervention processes much faster by using the AIMA platform interactively.

Malwation MSP (Malware Simulation Platform)

Second product; With Malwation MSP (Malware Simulation Platform), it offers a platform where organizations can dynamically produce malware simulations so that endpoint security products (Antivirus, EDR) on which they have invested heavily in cyber security architectures can be tested under the strictest conditions. In this way, it tries to ensure that they can choose the right product and be equipped against possible attack situations.

Osman Doğan, one of the founders, about the investment they have received: “After this investment, we will offer the SaaS versions of our products to the users, which can be used by individual and medium-sized companies. We will continue our efforts to make it widespread in markets with great potential such as Europe, the United States and EMEA.” said.
